Apps Crew

Some memories don’t fit into folders.
They belong in moments — gestures, sounds, colors, and the ways stories unfold in ways screens alone can’t capture.

The Memory Matters Apps Crew is a selective team of designers, developers, UX researchers, and storytellers creating digital experiences that bring memory to life. This is where technology meets empathy — transforming neuroscience, caregiving, and lived experience into interactive tools, games, and visualizations that help people connect with and preserve memories.

You’re not just building an app.
You’re crafting spaces where memory is seen, felt, and remembered.

And you won’t be doing it alone.

Apps Crew members collaborate with neuroscientists, caregivers, educators, tech strategists, and media experts, gaining rare mentorship in human-centered design, ethical technology, and creative coding for real-world impact.

Our Tech Advisors

Martin Oduro
Technology Leader and Strategist

Martin Oduro 2 bw.jpg

Martin is a technology leader with 15+ years of experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams and delivering software solutions across cloud-native and enterprise environments. Early in his career, Martin was very hands-on — building full-stack applications and  delivering microservices architectures hosted on AWS, Azure and GCP.

He then transitioned into leadership roles, managing teams across software engineering, DevOps, and solution architecture. He focused on setting technical direction, modernizing legacy platforms, driving adoption of open-source and cloud-first solutions, and creating a strong DevOps culture through automated pipelines and resilient system designs.

One of his biggest strengths is working cross-functionally — closely partnering with product, architecture, and data teams to align technical roadmaps with business goals. Martin believes in truth-seeking, evidence-driven decision making, and leading by empowering teams rather than micromanaging.

Over the years, he's also spent a lot of time mentoring top engineering talent, raising the technical bar within organizations such as IBM, Groupon and Optum Technology, and driving quality through practices like thorough testing, proactive monitoring, and resilient design patterns.
